A $504,775 grant from the Institute of Library and Museum Services makes it possible for the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Library and Information Studies to offer 12 fellowships to prepare librarians to work with diverse populations. Students selected to be Prism Plus Scholars will receive support to complete an ALA-accredited MLIS degree between January 2006 and May 2008. Students may be full-time, completing the degree by August 2007; or part-time, completing by May 2008.
